The mission of the Club shall be to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening and flower arranging; to aid in the protection of native trees, plants and birds; and to promote and encourage civic beauty, conservation and environmental responsibility.

Civic Involvement

  • Co-Sponsor of Winchester's annual hanging flower baskets
  • Beautification of town parks including tree and shrub donations to Bellino Park and Chefalo Memorial Park. Planting and maintenance of flowering pots at  Bellino Park.
  • Plantings at:

           - Jenks Senior Center

           - Winchester Community Music School

           - Town of Winchester sign at Jenks parking lot

           - Town Common

           - Winchester Hospital

           - Mary Murphy Housing

  • Floral displays arranged for the Winchester Hospital Meditation Room
  • Donations:

           - Books to the Winchester Public Library 

           - Meals on Wheels floral arrangements 

           - Raised garden bed for Wright-Locke Farm and $500 towards their gardening roof

           - $700 to Historical Society to develop landscape plans at Sanborn House
